Here is a character that I made to try out various experiments with the Cycles Render Engine, as well as Substance Designer and Painter.
The main challenge ended up being to get an Eye-Candy look with only a few textures per material.
Another tricky thing, was to make material node setups that allows you to fully customize the characters armor and body color, as well as other parts.
You may want to get hold of an HDRI image, to use as an Environment Texture ; You can find some here : www.hdrlabs.com
