Developed by PATAZ Animation for real-world production, Notes brings context-aware feedback to your Blender scenes.

This add-on goes beyond simple text by capturing the "state" of your scene when a note is created. When you navigate through your notes, the add-on automatically:

Jumps to the specific Frame Number.

Switches to the active Camera.

Restores your custom Viewport Angle and zoom level.

Key Features:

Context Restoration: Click through notes to instantly restore the view and frame where the note was made.

Universal Datablock Support: Attach notes directly to the Scene, specific Objects, Materials, Node Trees, Actions, and Video Sequence Editor (VSE) strips. The add-on dynamically detects what you are working on and saves the note to that specific item.

Multi-Editor Integration: Access your notes exactly where you need them. The Notes panel appears in the sidebars of the 3D Viewport, Node Editor, Dope Sheet, and Properties Editor.

Customizable Sidebar Tab: Keep your workspace tidy. You can rename the "Notes" tab in the side panel to anything you prefer via the Add-on Preferences.

Footer Readout: The most recent Scene note is displayed directly in Blender's status bar (footer), allowing you to read instructions or comments at a glance without opening the side panel.

Metadata Tracking: Automatically records the creation date and the Blender version used.

Workflow Friendly: Perfect for animation dailies, layout blocking, or leaving "to-do" markers in complex scenes.
