I was in need of a plate, and the one in BMF’s “Early Morning Breakfast” looked perfect. Unfortunately, the blue ring pattern was part of the mesh (I wanted it as a texture map), and figuring out baking with BI was a pain. I realized it was easier for me to remodel the thing from scratch in Cycles, so I did.

Rather than have the model rot away on a hard drive, I thought I’d pay it forward. It’s maybe a bit high-polygon (1,906 triangles with subdivision disabled), but as you can see it behaves very well with subdivision enabled.
